Default TIRES AND WHEELS FOR THE GRIZZLY

I put 28" 589's on my Grizzly back in '02 when I purchased it.

I found it a reasonable compromise for acceptable handling and ride on trails, and still give awesome perfromance over stock tires in 'the deep stuff'.

The 28" tires were the tallest I could find at the time.

I do experience slight rubbing when the suspension bottoms out .

I got them from 4 ATV Tires

They were the cheapest around, even with delivery to Alaska.

My Grizzly is more tipsy than some other machines. But that is because I have removed the anti-sway bar from the machine.

Doing so gives greater articulation in technical areas, and a nicer ride over rough trail.

I find that this requires greater 'body english' during fast trail riding.

But for me this is not a problem considering what I get in return.

The combination of the tall tires with the agressive tread pattern, the Independant suspension and locking-differential of the Grizzly all combine to make this machine the envy of our ATV group in the technical areas.
