Who will come out on top in the end? The powerful Raptor? The wide tracking Ds? The state of the art FX400? Or the old faithfull nimble handling 400EX

To start things off I personaly think it will be the FX400 for an overall ATV based on the specs. I would have loved to see the honda on top but i think the only thing that is saving this ATV is its relyability and nimble handling the engine needs improvement.

Please, if you have a different opinion let me know. And if you have any insider info on the 600EX project, put it out there.

I love my ex but I think the FX400 will rule. If and when it comes out and if and when it meets the specs laid out so far.

 

I don't know about the Raptor, or the DS 650, now the fx 400 looks like another story. It comes with better shocks than any others, the frame should be better than any of the others, I don't know about the motor, will not know until I lay my leg across one. I will tell you this, if the fuel injection takes away the hesitation, it will be ahead of my 400ex. Don't get me wrong I love my 400, but I always get some bog when I go into a turn hard and try to power out in 2nd gear. I wish it had better throttle response. Any way I believe as far as an all around better quad, the fx400 will take the cake, but who is to know until we get to ride them all.

I believe that the Cannondale, could be the sports quad for 2001. I know that will upset the Yamaha boys, but 45hp with fuel injections, nice.............

 

I like the tranny in the FX, just slides out to replace gears!
