440ex cams

Default 440ex cams

i was thinking about getting White Brothers cams and i was wondering if i need to change my valve springs if i do get them

not neccesarily..but i gotta set of hot cam stage 1 cams for my 440 that i will sell you...

do the stage 1 cams help with low range power or mid range?

well...i have a set in my bike..i just bought these for an extra set..and with adding the cams they pull hard all through...but mainly low and mid...when i drag race(sand) i cant keep the front end down in 2nd 3rd or 4th gear...soo..you tell me

go with the hot cam, that is all we have ever run. Another good thing with the hot cam is no exchange, but i guess that wouldn't matter if you bought the cam off of DS650. There is two different cams they make but I can't remember which one gives you the low end, that's pretty bad because i think i've bought probably like 4 or 5.

what is better for drag racing in the sand with the 416 big bore, the stage 1 or stage 2?

i prefer the stage 2 for open area. it will have more pull in the upper gears, but won't have quite as much down low. however, with my ross 10.8 piston, i didn't lose any lowend power over stock.
