The ex is more of a sport bike. The warrior is nice but it is heavy and has little ground clearance. The 400ex will have more power and handle much better. Good luck

Read the plug, that will tell you what to do with jetting.

don't get the head pipe until you do motor mods (if you're planning on doing them.) I put one on mine and it made no difference. The slip on with K&N did make a nice difference. Now that the motor is modded the head pipe is probably doing some good

I remember driving your Warrior. I love your 400ex so much more even though it doesn't have reverse. The differences from the Warrior and the 400ex that I noticed:

The 400ex is more confortable
The Warrior feels harder to shift through the gears (it's easy but the 400ex is so much easier)
The 400ex feels so much more powerful

I also live in Reno. I have found that the guys at BVH motorsports are very helpful when it comes to these questions. Your best bet at this elevation is to up your main jet to a 152 with a slip on. fast440 is right. You will basically be waisting your money with a head pipe and no engine mods. You may even lose power. And as far as racing the Predator "No chance of a win there". You would have to seriously modify your EX to even come close in a drag race.
