400EX started at end of ride today died HELP???

at the very end of the day riding today.Alot of jumping real muddy the start stop working had to bump start........When hitting the start button it does nothing at all ,i know it the the batt the lights and nutral light still work the starter seem like it has no power going to it at all so any info on this will be great

wow i type that real bad hehe guess i should of drank alot before typing it start=starter not start on post above .so my starter stop working have to bump start still have power to lights and neutral light so help me

CHECK THE POWER WIRE TO YOUR STARTER TO SEE IF IT IS CONNECTED PROPERLY AND CHECK YOUR FUSES.

Make sure that the battery has a full charge. Put a charger on it over night to make sure. Mine had just under half charge and it would'nt turn over but the lights would come on. I put a charger on it over night and it fired right up the next morning. Hope this is it!

on my friends 300ex the lights came on but it wouldndt start so we messed around with a tester and found that the fuse under the seet was blown so try replacing it

yup you blew your fuse. the other day when i friend rolled my 400ex(both him and 400 r a ok) he blew the fuse out. not sure why it does it but sometimes it does

thanks for all the info.....found the problem one of the wires was broke in half but till inside the rubber cap that proects the wire, so i couldnt see it...found it after alot of looking fixed now
