Default Can you wheelie a sportsman 500?

Anybody ever done it? Tips on how? Thanks.

I have seen some videos of a sp-500 in low range doing wheelies, It looked like he was just sitting down doing nothing specail...

The 500 we used to have was hard to wheelie.....had to stand on the rack and pull and gun it.

The Kawi 650's though.....now that's a different story!

well... the only way I wheelied mine was with someone on the back and hit a little bump while goosin it she came up no problem and high! but as for single person my guess is the ol stand on the rack trick...

Default Can you wheelie a sportsman 500?

I heard that with a Dalton or Heelclicker clutch kit you can get them up in high range with a little work. And in low they will come up real easy. Just what I heard.

My buddy is 6'4" and about 230 lbs and he can wheely his 2001 Sports 500. He really has to pull it up from a standstill but it definitely will come up. I think the front end is pretty heavy so finding a balance point is tough.
