I just bought a 01 Grizz 660 with 535 miles on it for $4350 i thought it was a hell of a deal what do you guys think?
I'v rode it and its in perfect condition some old guy with 100 acres owned it moved to town and didnt need it.
I added everything to it, it was all stock when i got it.
I am thinkin about buying a 03 Polaris 600 Sportsman and i could get it for 5000 it has 40 hours.. Should i buy it or just buy a new one?

 

I think the grizzly is a 600, the 660 didnt come out till 02, correct me if I'm wrong.

 

Yes the 660 came out in 02!! The 01 Griz is a 600!! Great ride. I have always heard good things about that year!! I would keep the Griz and not worry about the Polaris 600. They are nice and it sounds like a good deal but it is alot heavier so it will not be any quicker if that is what you are looking for!! But it is a nice nide, and the newer 03's have a real plush ride. But the ride on the Griz 660 is so comfortable. Take a ride on a 600 Polaris and then get back on a Griz!! You will see what I mean..
BUt if you got to have another ride it sounds like a nice one and a good deal at that..

If you can get an '03 Sportsman 600 for $5k, buy it. It would perform way better than the Grizz 600 in every catagory. The '03 Sportmans have the awesome Goodyear Rawhide tires on it the outperform any other factory tire out there. The Polaris is also known for having the plushest ride out there also. If it only has 40 hours on it, it's practically brand new. It ,ight be a bit heavier than the Griz, but the Polaris should still spank it in acceleration, tug of war, mud, and comfort. Good luck.

 

Hey guys my bad its an 02 i had a 01 and im used to typing about it. It's a huge change from a 600 to 660 so much nicer ride and way better in mud.. But neways thanks im thinking about just buying a new grizz because i love the one i got and have never owned a polaris.

 

any of you heard if the 04 650 Ricons are any good? I was considering it until a freind said they were slow and he didnt enjoy riding it. I want to know about it from someone who rode one or knoes what there talking about..
