Default Scrambler Oil Change

Just got my scrambler broken in so I go to change the oil as directed.....only to find that it is a little more "high tech" than changing the oil in my warrior was lol. Well I got as far as draining the oil from the tank and then the manual said to take a filter out of one of the tubes behind it.....well there are 2 tubes and 2 sides of them and the drawing wasnt the most detailed thing I'd ever seen and I didnt get it. Also it says that you need to drain oil from the crankcase as well....could anyone explain to me where the drain is for that? I might seem stupid but the manual didn't really explain things too great and I'm not the most mechanically experienced person to begin with......so any help would be greatly appreciated!

Default Scrambler Oil Change

First off their is a drain plug under the skid plate(on the bottom of the quad) i think there is 6 bolts holding it on not for sure tho.. Take that off there thats were you will find the drain plug on the engine there will be 1 cup of oil left in the crankcase let it drain, reinstall the plug(do not over torque it) drain the oil from the oil tank.... On the back of the oil tank the bottom line remove it, then remove the fitting on the oil tank cleen the screen, reinstall it, then reinstall the line as well, remove the oil filter put on the new one(dont forget to put some oil on the o ring on the new filter... add 2 quarts of oil polaris 0w40,... You have to reprime the oil pump since you took off the oil line, There will be a slit in the vent line at the very top on the oil take, pinch it off before the slit faceing the oil tank make sure you dont hit the oil tank fitting, with vise grips( be careful not to damage the line) start the quad let it run for 30sec or so (during this time do not rev the quad at all) turn it off when you release the vise grips if the pump is re primed you should hear a hiss sound from the vent line. your done if you dont hear the sound keep redoing it till you do the oil pump Must be primed...... Check for leaks

I no this sounds like a lot of work once you do it a few times it becomes easy...
Hope this helps....

Where is the oil take....could you go into a little more detail about the priming part? I'd greatly appreciate it...Thanks.
