I need a set of tires to use only in the sand. What tires have you used with success? Remember the Wolverine is a 4X4. Plus, what tires work the best in the Dirt? I need suggestions from people that have actually used these tires in the sand.

If you only want to buy and use one set of tires, the Maxxis Sur Tracs are really good, the can be turned from the standard direction to snow/sand by just swapping the rims from side to side to reverse the tread. A friend of mine ran them on a 250X in Silver Lake dunes, and they worked great. Then when you are done, a quick swap,and you are back to trail tires.

 

I used to take mine to the dunes and all I did was swap the tires around and I could make it up most of the hills.
