i might get one of these i was just wanderin about the speeds and were they reliable??????

 

I just got an 84 200x with original motor still running great! It's close to a 300ex in speed.

 

those 350x's are pretty fast though. If you're looking for speed get that

 

Yeah- I second that, if you can get your hands on a 350x, DO IT!!!!!

 

I've had my 200x since it was new in 1986. It still runs like the day I bought it and I have never opened up the engine. It's a great trail bike but don't expect to win many races with it. You might get away with surprising the occaisional blaster rider, but your not going to be running down 400ex's. Mine is stock except for a cobra exhaust and it tops out at 50-55mph. If it's speed youre going for, get the 350x. Theres no comparing the two as far as power goes, but as far as relibility, they are both great!

 

well said. The 200x is a great cruiser, it gets me to all the hills and is a blast to ride around camp. Both bikes are very reliable assuming they have been taken care of. If you're looking for something that will pull big hills or be competitive in drag racing then go with the 350, if you're just looking for something cheap that you can have a great time on then the 200x would be a good choice as well.
