For those of you that have this...is it everything it's cracked up to be? I have the GYT-R pos shifter on mine, and I don't see it as being a proper solution since it still has the linkage crap. Does the direct fit Roll shifter work really good? How about any fitment problems, and is the reach about the same as the stock setup? Just wondering, because I'm tired of missing shifts. Anyone who can reply to this, it would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.

Ive got the IMS Direct Shifter and it works great! Just be careful when riding because you can push the shifter in and scratch the cases. Besides that, it works great, the throw on the shift is a bit different and it takes a bit to get used to. A bud of mine tried to shift my quad and decided to just get off because he couldnt shift it. Buy the cheap $20 shifter, if you dont like it sell it..if you like it, buy the pretty $60 aluminum one.

I have the Roll Design shifter and it works great. I never had a problem with it being close to the case, so I don't see where it could scratch the case. Shifting is 100% better. Nuetral is easy to find and mounting is quick and simple. It is a bit tight trying to tighten the set screw, but all in all, I am so happy with the shifter, I had to buy one for my wifes Rappy.

I also have the roll design shifter. Great looking, very well made and freaking over priced. Still worth it though!

save yourself 60 bucks and go with the IMS Steel shifter...its only 20 bucks and works just as well the Roll design shifter...its just not as pretty...There is a big difference in shifting with a direct shifter..the stock linkage type are crap...

The Pro Design aluminum shifter works great as well, it's worth checking out.

I like my RD I don't miss a shift like I did with stock. I also had the IMS, it is good but not as sold as the RD. $$ is up to you.
