Default Kodiak 450 valve adjustment

The dealer quoted me 2 hrs. labor at $70/hr. which came to $158. Shouldn't this take them a little less time?

Anyways, I'm going to attempt the 1st valve adjustment myself. Any tips from you all? I've never done this before, so ANY info is greatly appreciated!

$100 sounds a little more reasonable. I guess up here in Northern VA, they figure everyone will pay whatever they ask. I don't think so - I'm doing everything I can myself.
