The dirt or sand your rear tires throw when powering up a dune or hill or around a corner or edge of a dune face etc.

The dirt, mud, sand, etc. that your back tires throw up when your hard on the gas. To experience the full effect of roost, ride behind a yzf450 or crf450.(ouch)

You got that right, I rode behind a motorcycle (don't remember which kind) on a high speed dune run a few dune trips back. Needless to say I gave him a very large gap after getting roosted a couple times.
