What are the pros and cons of the CT National Midrange pipe and the Paul Turner Type 6 pipe? I'm looking at both of these pipes for my 250R.

Your pipe choice really depends on your application. The PT Type 6 is a low-end pipe, woods type pipe. The power is strong in the low and mid, but signs off on the top end. The CT midrange will have less power on the low end, but more from the midrange through top end. The CT is a smooth pipe with no real hard hit to it. Each pipe, be it LRD, PT mid, CT mid or FMF Fatty does something a little different than the other.

I know your not even talking about the fatty. But when i put mine on. I noticed a little lose in the lower end power. But a substantal gain in the mid-top end power band.

I use the CT mid pipe.It has incredible low end power, right from bottom it pulls HARD.It is a little flat on top but for tight woods/mx it is great.
