I heard one on a DS650 the other day and it sounds WAY COOL!!!! Very loud though.

 

HMF is one of the better aftermarket four stroke exhausts out there. The also offer a quiet core insert.

 

for a stock motor I would say that you can't go wrong.....

but for a mildly built motor I would get a sparks...........

I know someone that has a 101MM raptor
same compression
same cam
head ported by the same dude
but he is running the hmf full system.........and his has NO WHERE NEAR the power mine does........
NO comparison...........

For the money that a slip on HMF cost you can't go wrong money wise or power. Mine was a little tricky putting on because you have to reuse the sleeve off the stock exhaust and also had to widen the what i call the ears to fit over the stock header pipe. I like mine, but the neighbors hate it. But like they say Loud Pipes Saves Lives.

 

Loud pipes save lives...so if the neighbors can't hear themselves think and all of a sudden can, chances are you flipped over and almost dead but they save your life by calling an ambulance?

In the offroad world, they get riding areas shutdown, not save lives. On the street, I agree they can help but they have caused problems as well. For example, street bikes were banned at night for at least a period of time on Lake Shore Drive in Chicago because they would wake people up at night.

I have never heard anything as loud as the Alba pipe. Very loud.

But the HMF pipes are pretty good. Not the best, but they are definetly a good pipe.
