E-series....... At least you can make those quieter. I'm also looking at the Alba"factory seconds pipe". So we'll see. Again thats for all the help.
just to let you know...........the alba is the loudest thing that I've heard, short of a drag pipe!
it is louder than my sparks

edit:
if you put less disks in the e-series to quiet it down, that is going to cork it up just like the hmf quiet core would...........
right?

Hounddog is right! The HMF makes very good power and it does it smoothly with a consistent flat torque curve. If you look at something like trinity pipes with the super long headers you'll notice that the torque graph is very peaky and drops very fast as you reach the higher rpm's.
While the pipes with long headers may make a higher peak horsepower HMF has a smoother HP and torque curve.

I used to have HMF on my predator...here's the numbers I got when tested....102idle, 109 at 4000rpm. Bought the quiet core, retested...99 at idle, 102 at 4000rpm...had to send it all back cause it was too loud. I've been talking with Joe at HMF and he says that by the end of the year they were supposed to have redisigend a quiet core to get the big bores down to 96db. The quiet core claim of 91 only works for 400cc and down sport quads...and to get lower numbers with the utility, you have to buy the hunter core to make it quiet! But huget power!!, even with the queit core!
