cant change oil!!
#1
The last time I changed my oil was when I took it to my local dealer for a "Yamaha 72 hour service" And I swear they do it on purpose, the oil pan screw is like super tight. I tried everything and I cant get it off. Any suggestions? I dont have an air compressor so I cant do that.

What are you a little girl? Just kidding try useing a breaker bar or put a piece of pipe on your ratchet to more leverage. It shouldnt be on there that tight.

Get a bigger hammer Those Warrior plugs are a pain in the A$$! When I had mine I broke the whole hex part off leaving a hole where it was before, hehe! Pissed me off at the time! Sometimes when they get put on tight the heat cycle everytime you run it really takes toll on the tightness of the plug. Just keep prying on it, if it breaks just get a new one and don't take it to the dealership. They arn't that expensive, you can always get a new one. Good luck!!!

If it is that hard I would take it back to the dealer. Let them deal with it and than have them put on a new plug. You might start to strip it. You might break the head of the bolt of with all that leverage.

wait.. you do know the old saying right... "righty tighty, lefty loosy" it almost sounds as if your tightening it!! who knows.. maybe the dealer put the loctite to her.

I hate to say it, but if you really can't get it off, take it back to the dealer and have them loosen it for you. If you've started stripping the bolt, I'd recommend spending a few bucks and buying a new drain bolt.

Put the wheeler right up un it's end....have a buddy help you steady it. If possible..use a bit of heat first...not too much. just enough to help free up any loctite that may have been used.
use a breaker bar or long ratchet...it should pop free....some of those bolts can get very stubborn.
when you do get it out...take the time once in a while to take it out , clean the threads and put it back in.
I change my oil so much that the plugs don't get enough time to set up on me. the plug should have a crunch washer under it....you don't need as much torque as you would think to get a good seal.
good luck!!!
