Default RAPTOR CLUTCH PROBLEMS

I had the same problem, put different oil in my bike and never had the problem again after I sand blasted the metal plates between the clutch pads. I kept slipping after I put a new one in the second time. I started using Kendall Oil and never had the problem again.

It could be your riding habits.....did you just climb off a 125 dirt bike before buying the Raptor? The Raptor does'nt need or want a lotta clutch action. Mine has done this once since I have owned my 01 Raptor in Sept of 2000. This instance occured too me once when I was trying too climb a long hill in the winter time riding 2 gears too high and using a lotta clutch. The stock clutch sucks anyway.....it's always slipping.

Make sure your clutch is adjusted right to begin with.

Put in stiffer springs.

Are you sure the little spring plate is in the clutch? There is one plate that looks like a large circlip that needs to be in the clutch.
