z400 clutch barking when cold
#1
Might anyone know why my clutch "barks" when I engage it, kind of like the sound of rubber on concrete when when tires chirp. It goes away after I ride for a while, but is always there when cold.
Thanks for the help.

Did you run over a small dog? j/k
Duno probably ok if it goes away once the motors warm.
My damn back brake is sweeking so bad.The thing is that I only have about 5 hours total on the bike since I bought it new.I hope maybe the squealing process is a breaking in period.lol

There was some fur stuck in my chassis,...
It's just wierd, it's like the clutch is nice and smooth and right when it totally engages it makes this gnarly sound like the back brake is locked up and braking loose. As for that squeaking you have, I had that too. I just put a shot of motor oil on the disk and ran it around fast a few times breaking hard. Once the oil went away (about 10 minutes) so did the squeak.
Thanks for the input.
