Default check engine

Just wondering what the check engine light on the 04.5 models is all about??....does it really monitor anything. I suppose it only means one thing....well just wonedering.

hmm.. i didnt know they had one.. kinda cool... tells you if something is messed up i supose...

According to the owners manual (Forgive me if I get this wrong, I dont have mine with me) the thing is first programmable to remind you of maintenance intervals, and the Information pod can also help with some fairly basic diagnostic things... It is in the manual...

but it has the wrench on the pod to. wouldnt that be what it is for. just wondering?

I think you are right.

Mine has the Check Engine indicator, but I can't remember what it wa for, I got confused.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-blush.gif[/img]
