Has anybody out there put either a XR600R or a XR650L engine in a 400EX . Dirtwheels magasine put a XR600R motor in a Laeger chassis and wished they had gone for the XR650L motor because of the electric starter. I know DEANFASTWAY on dirtrider.net has put a XR600R motor in a 400EX chassis and I wanted to know what everybody else did. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

do you sericly have to do all that like you cant just do stock swing arm and single rear suspension cause i was thinkin bout puttin a cr500 or xr650l motor in. witch do you guys think would be faster in a 400ex

 

Never put a 2 stroke dirt bike engine into a 4 stroke quad frame, Id never, Id put the 650 engine in, How hard is it?

 

whats the fastest motor you could use for a quad with out switching to a motorcylce engine
