I was at the polaris dealer the other day and noticed the the rear shock on the '04 scramber 500 was not a fox shock nor did it have a rez, Is this new shock an improved model or a cheaper version to keep the cost down?

 

I think it's better than the one on the TB250, but I think it is a cheaper replacement over the Fox.
