Sorry if I sound ignorant, but what is the difference between the DS Baja and the Baja X?

I have ridden a piped Baja by the way...not too shabby. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

 

the bajax is lighter and it as more stuff on it like nerf bars.

 

They are the same weight. The Baja X comes with nerf bars, high pressure gas shocks in front, & skid plates on the bottom of frame and front a-arms.

 

.....and handguards (barkbusters). There is no weight difference except for the added parts.

Actually, the weight should be amost exactly the same - The DS650 Baja X has some lightened parts which would make up the difference. Now if you compare the X to the standard DS with the lighter parts - then you'll see the difference!
