I have had a few requests over the last few months to scan and e-mail a great article from a magazine named "Dirt Bike". It is from the May 1998 edition and there is an article on jetting tricks.

This article is a must for everyone to read. For the beginner it takes away all the mystery of carbs. For the expert it is a great refresher and if you learn one new thing it was worth reading.

This article mainly focuses on 4 stroke thumpers and was written with the dirt bike reader in mind. However this info applies to all carbureted engines, 4 or 2 stroke, stock or highly modified.

Cut and paste the following URL's and enjoy. These are Jpeg's so you may want to right click and save the images on your PC so you can save and print them. Sorry but there are five pages.

Hope you all learn at least one thing from this. I know I did.

How do I cut and paste to print these?

Have you been able to view the articles yet? If not hightlite the URL's then right click on it. Then hit copy. Then go up to the address bar, clear it, then left click and type copy. Then hit enter. Do this for each URL seperately. When looking at the scanned images from the article, right click on them. Select save image as, then you have it some place on your PC, wherever you choose to put it. You can then view and print the articles.
