front end alignment

Default front end alignment

Does anyone know the specs for the front end alignment on a traxster max 2004 and if you do could you let me know . Default front end alignment

An 01 according to the manual is .669" of toe with a + / - of .157" and the camber angle is zero degrees.

Is that with the wheels on the ground, or elevated? On the Hondas, when you raise the front end it changes the measurement considerably.

I can't answer that for sure. But most quads would act that way.
My best guess would be not only on the ground but with ridder on board. After all thats where the rider would be when operating the quad. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]

Default front end alignment

The reason I asked is that Honda specifies checking the toe-in with the front wheels raised off the ground. When the quad is lowered and supporting it's own weight, the outer tie rod ends are quite a bit higher than before in relation to the inner tie rod ends, which reduces the toe-in to nearly zero. They specify 16 mm toe in for the 400 Foreman. For some reason mine was set to 15 mm toed OUT !!
