450r question?
Hello 450R fans, the Honda 450R does not have a battery. The reason for it being kick start eliminates the battery and extra/unnecessary wireing. Another reason for not having a battery is for weight savings. You will not ever have to worry about buying another $50+ battery again. I think honda did the right thing here buy eliminating the battery on this MX RACER. I hope this answered your question. And as for the lights, they will only work when the quad is running, just like the other 2-stroke machines that have no battery (Blaster - Banshee - Legendary 250R).

The YFZ 450 has an electric start so it has to have a battery. The TRX450R has a kick start and does not have a battery.
