I am not bashing anyone but I think it is strange how for the past two years or so the atv magazines have been bashing the predator for missing the plastic over the tank.On pg 89 of the Feb dirtwheels it has an article on the Predator. It says "Will someone please come up with a graphics kit or new body work for the un-finished looking Predator?" You then look at the pictures in the article on the new TRX 450 and it looks to me to look un-finished. It looks as if the tank is missing plastic just like the Polaris. I guess maybe it is just my impression.

Humm, your right.. I just checked it out... I guess its just what your tastes are, i really like the pred(thats why i am buying one) The 450r looks ok..The pred and the 450r could use some restyling, but who really cares? buy what you like and have fun thats what it is all about anyway...

Over all dirtwheels is very bias to yamaha... I really don't believe much they say...

Cool insight. I think the Predator plastic is maybe more of a pain for the people over 6'. Personally, I don't care who makes what machine, but if they have some daring designs to make it interesting. Like when the DS first came out. The modular (futuristic) design of the Pred. is something I really like, others will just have to get used to it.

Wouldn't it make the Predator lighter having less body panels.
