New Tires for the Rancher?
#1
What do you guys think would be the best deep lug tire for riding in both mud and on hardpack for a stock 2000 rancher 4x2 ES? Trying to keep the stock rims.
Looked at the vampire's but the dealer said they had so much grip they were tearing up the rear end. Anybody else heard anything like that?

I have the Goodyear Mudrunners on my 99 Sportsman and my 00 Xplorer. These are very agressive in the mud/snow and offer a great ride on hardpack. No truth to tearing up the rear end either.I've not heard that from one single person yet.You might also look at the new Outlaw mudders, they are very nice to.==Bill

Deadeye search the forum man.......this was disscuss recently.......i have had a good run with a set of surtraks......did every thing you are asking......got all traks on my 250x.....they work well is well.....they are a deep lug general purpose tire.....we have a bike on loan from a shop (450es died), it has kenda bearclaws on it..i recon they hook up ok too(similar to surtraks).....would those titans (good years) do the trick.....(are those the ones that come out on the artic cats?)?...apparently those itp blackwaters are good on hard packed surfaces too.....
