Can someone please tell me how much horsepower the recon is putting out.

I cheaked it out 12hp from a 450! I have a briggs snowblower that does that much horse power and a push lawnmower that has 6HP.I should not laugh though the 500 Sportsman only puts out 18 HP what A joke ,I had a 1969 Ski-doo 300 single that put out that much power.

And people love four strokes? A average 340 snowmoible put out 35 HP.The hp of a Recon? you are probably better off never knowing.

remember though is the 450 has alot of tourqe not hp

 

I dont know about any other states but here in N.Y.we receive a certificate of origin for registration.It list the H.P.so they know what to charge i think.The Recon is listed at 15.6 H.P.(s.a.e.)and the rancher at 20.6 H.P.
I would like to know the torque.Honda recons must have the most torque of any 250 4stroke.
