hi i was wondering what it ment to get ur bike ported

 

2 strokes dont have valves so they us crankcase pressure to force the gas air mixture through ports in the cylinder getting your bike ported means cleaning them up a little like smoothing them out so the mixture can flow better

 

actually if you look at a port job the intakes are roughed up and the exhaust ports are smooth....thats why its called port and polish.

 

On a two stroke they change the shape and sizes of the ports which can make the motor act very different. You can give it alot of torque, smooth power all over, or make it wicked on the top end. Also anywhere in between those (Assuming your motor has no powervalve, if you do then you can have torque and a wicked top end at the same time)
