Default Cold Blooded - starting?

I was pretty much sold on a Polaris, but when I talked to the dealer he said they are pretty cold blooded. Then he said, all of them are cold blooded, the polaris actually is pretty good. Not sure what to think of this. I live in MN and will be ice fishing with this thing below zero a lot. Is there a better machine for starting in the cold that I should be looking at? I don't want the 700 as it is too big for what I need, even though it does have the EFI. I was looking at the 400. Thanks!

I have a 2004 Kodiak450 and it starts up no problem and we have had some cold weather lately, -10 to -20 for the last week or so and she fires right up. I have to kill the choke shortly after starting though or she loads up. My old King Quad would sooner sit were you shut it off, thats why a small torch comes in handy, pull the plug and heat the jug up. Works like a charm. Did not have the torch with us when I went out earlier this winter and the temps dropped to -5 and we had my QuadRunner, took several hours to get it started where my Kodiak started on the first tap of the starter button. I have friends who own Polaris's and they do not have starting problems either. I do not think you will have any problems with any newer quad in the cold. AlaskaBoy.
