Default HRC KIT VOIDING 450R WARRANTY?

I ordered put a deposit down on a 450r about a month ago, and today I was told by a dealer that installing the HRC kit will void the warranty. He said they got a HRC kit in today, and there was a slip in the box that said it would void the warranty. I thought the idea of the kit, was to get more performance without voiding the warranty?

Thanks,
Ryan

If so, I will ride it until it is off warranty, then install the kit!

My dealer told me it would not void the warranty if it was installed by Honda. Sure would be nice if the dealers gave the same story.

They cannot void the warranty unless they can prove that the parts or work caused the damage to occur.... This is the law. They can also not force you to let them do the work by threatening to take away the warranty - again, there are federal laws in place to protect you against this sort of extortion.

It would put Honda in somewhat of an odd position proving that parts they offer for their quad causes damages to the quad they offer it for.
