jetting for a pipe

Default pipe for the sound

hey guys i got a DG pipe pretty cheap off of a friend a while ago just for the sound until i get a better one do i need to jet with this pipe and i also got a k&n filter..

k&n filter DG exhaust for now
just to make it a lil lounder
titan 489 xts on the back
maxxis razors on the front
full skid plate,bash gaurd
rebuilt trans,D.I.D chain
pro amor belt,scott grips
the newer model tie rod ends
12 t front 36 t back sprokets
neon shifter ****, pro burner lights
stronger back caliper holder i made at a friends shop
cut front fenders with the floor boards removed

Yes, But i am not sure on what jet size you should go with....

and guys im new to the hole carb/jetting thing so can u give me some instruction too..

I had a DG on my wife's 96Trailboss with a k&n, used a 150 main jet and worked very well.

a 150 will probably be right because thats wat i had wen i had just my pipe

[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]first i would drop the e-clip until you get a stumble then raise it up one now try to go up in main get sizes until you get a stumble then go down a size another thing if your atv is faster at 3/4 throtle you are lean on the top end

wow rookWV alot of info it helped alot so im going to go to a 155 jet but how hard is it to do this b/c i dont want to mess anything up and if its to hard im just going to get somone that knows carbs more then i do to put it in

If it's anything like a scrammy it's a piece of cake....just unscrew it from the bottom of the carb, out falls the screw-the main jet-the spacer....super simple....the other parts like the needle and stuff is a little more complex but not much more.
