measuring suspension travel

how do I measure how much travel my 250r has now???it has white power shocks and jd+2 a-arms is there any way for me to measure the amount of travel.Can't wait to ride it!!waiting for steering stem and brakelines.check her out at www.angelfire.com/me3/fmf86trx250r
