Default 350x swapping info

I just bought a complete 350x chassis with a motor that the guy said was a 350x motor for $75. Turns out it is a 250x motor and carb, which isn't to bad since we have 3 300ex's. So i was wondering if the rear end off the 350x will fit on my 300ex. Would i need to modify anything?

Thanks
Jonesy

want to get rid of the "extra" 250x engine?

Not really, it is always nice to have an extra motor to slap in if we happen to lock one of ours up.

The rear end itself will not interchange with the 250X and 300EX quads, but somewhere in a magazine article I read a few years ago...I believe it was ATV Sport.....had put the entire swingarm under a 300EX. They said it was almost 2" longer.

What mods, if any, they used to make this work I'm not sure of.

Might want to do some measuring and see exactly how easy this is to do.

I'll measure everything up on friday and try the swap. I'll let you all know how everything works out.
