Has anyone tried the Maxxis Mud Bug yet? I saw them for the first time yesturday and never considered getting a mud tire until now.. they look wild, they must have 1.5" lugs on them, and it felt very light, but it was a small tire, 22" x 12" maybe.. I bet those would tear anything up. I wonder if that tread would last long on hardpack though.

I have 27" mud bugs with over 800 mi on them. mostly trail with pavement mixed in. not much wear the .25 inch ribs are still on the back tires, I bet they would still be on the front if I didn't have to ride home on pavement with a badly bent tierod ... Bill
