I just read sumthin that said KTM will be makin a 520cc sport bike..4 stroke..hmm anyone else hear of this? If so maybe the 450r and yfz450 will be gone..not bashing on the 450s..KTM 520 would be sweet!!

 

Daryl Rath made one a while ago. I have the issue of dirtwheels that has the review and pics of it. They had said that they hoped KTM would take this idea and make a sport quad but I have not heard of anything since. I can scan and post pics of it if anyone wants to see it. It seems like it would be a sweet machine.

The ATV Sport cover bike with the orange 250R plastic is still the prettiest quad I have ever seen, nosing out Adam Campbell's CT330R that was done up in red plastic with hyper rims with red rings.

 

I agee,thats when I started wanting a KTM powered quad. THat thing was sharp!!!

 

How has your Eraser been treating you? I am still waiting to see if ATK brings the Maico/Zabel 700 engines into the country for a quad. You can get the W-Tec on Europe with that engine. I would be interested in that quad. Have you ever written a full ride report on your Eraser? How it does in the dunes? How comfortable it is? How the dependability has been? Strengths vs. weaknesses. How does it compare to your modded DS? Very curious, I am.

DS in my pictures is 720 owned by my friend Glenn, and itis faster than mine,but no matter what you own there's always something faster out there. Just be happy with what you've got! I AM!!!!

 

What's it cost delivered with engine? How much for a shock upgrade? Do they still use Pro-Trax? Are they offering any other engines as of now? Which KTM engine is in your quad? Does it have e-start? I'm a nosey ****er, aren't I.
