I order new rims and tires for my 400EX.They came today I own a 400ex 2000 model the order from says the rims are for a 400EX 99 .
So my ? is are the 99 and 2000 model use the same rims .Im sure they do but i want to make sure before i open the box and put them on incase i need to send them back.
So please anyone that knows tell me thanks

 

Lucis, the question is, will the rims in the boxes sitting before you fit your quad? Your are in the best position of anyone in the world to answer this question; go for it! Check the bolt circle of the first rim; if compatible, the others likely fit also.

Consider the alternative: some jerk tells you, incorrectly, on the Forum, "No way, man! The bolt circle and offset for 2000 changed drastically from the 1999 models!" You send unopened boxes back to the vendor, claiming the parts don't fit and demanding your money back. The rim-and-tire men KNOW they sent the right parts. Where are you then?

Fear not. Boldly verify whether your parts fit, hands-on, personally. I bet they do!
