Has anyone heard of someone racing a modified recon 250 in cross country races?

 

I don't ever recall seeing one entered in a GNCC event, but alot of them pop up on your local hare scramble races in the utility class.

They are underpowered compared to the bigger quads ofcourse, but I have seen in some races, where the course is more catered to dirtbikes than quads [narrow trails], that Recons and Ozarks do well due to their small size and light weight.

Check out what hare scrambles are in your area and talk with someone who races that series for his input.
