Default Spark Plugs for P650?

I was wondering if anyone tried different plugs in the 650...The book calls for NGK CR7E
Mine seems to foul out rather fast Thanks for any info

if your fouling plugs (too black) then your jetted too rich.try droping down one jet size and see how that does.you may have to go down more than one size to get it right.hope this helps.

Fouled plugs usually do mean too rich or you may have the infamous sticking choke situation, or even leaving it choked too long will do it, after you have got the bike running lean enough, going to a NGK CR8E which is one notch colder will lower the head temp's about 5 degree's..........but they will foul easier than the 7's if you are too rich

OK thanks for the info......I just installed my stronger choke springs so maybe that will help me out with fouling the plugs
