That's awesome that Yamaha improved the warrior, but that engine should have been gone in my opinion. At least a 4 valve head. Other than that good job Yamaha. I only wish that Honda would redesign the 400ex, liquid cooling, better suspension, something like that!

But its 5 grand!! Way too much IMO to compete with the 300ex. But, why keep the Warrior in the lineup? That doesn't make much sense.....

compete with the 300ex you mean the 400ex. the 300ex can't run with a warrior.

how come its only yamaha that does wut the ppl want....think about it

honda took a long time for that 1 modle yamaha has 3 to compare with it
honda still is on the 300ex while yamaha is trying to improve
and so on

why couldn't honda keep the 250r like yamaha kept the banshee maybe becasue yamaha found out that the ppl liked it and wanted it to stay so they kept it

I am a honda lover though.....

dude, i have seen many 250X/300EX beat warriors. all bikes stock. i guess its the rider...
warriors are good bikes, i know- i had one - but it handles like a tank compared to bikes of today. but i would take a 300EX over one anyday.

Are you serious. A 300ex can keep up/beat a warrior without much trouble. For starters it is about 30 lbs lighter than a warrior and it has a 4 valve head so it gets there quicker. It also wider so it handles the woods with much more authority and it doesnt have valve float problems. But hey i have only ridden a 300ex and a warrior a bunch of times so how would i know.....however i must say the warrior is stable at high speeds.

Uhh...no. It takes some good mods for a 300 to beat a warrior! Keep up, yes but beat...no. Warriors put out more hp and more torque...especially with a 2 valve head which makes more torque than a 4. The 300 is VERY mild stock too and doesn't gain much from mods. This new 350 is gonna absolutly smoke the 300 in all aspects though...Honda better improve their lineup soon cause it looks like yamaha is kickin their butt.

I bleed yamaha blue, but my stock 88 250x would beat most stock warriors

I too like the new 350 Rappy. It's MSRP is 4999, which means you should be able to get them for around 4k.
