Anyone close to Manitoba Canada have an older LT80 they want to sell?
Or have the means to put one on a skid and ship it?

after my PM, I saw a local '97 for $1900 OBO. Too much, $1500 would be top dollar, especially for buying a great unknown from so far away (unless he can prove recent work/invoices). Check with Vankam for a freight quote, they're pretty good.

Thanks for the note. I had a lengthy private message typed out and the server crashed or something.
I'll try again later. Sounds like I should talk to my buddy at the Yamaha dealer.

Yes I did. Thanks. The more I look at used, the more I think I should step up and get a new one especially as the little quads sure seem to hold their value. I do check the buy&sell all over however it would be tough to get a private party to crate and ship and getting a deal from a dealer is darn near impossible.

all the stealerships (I stole that from someone here) claim there's no $$ in kids stuff. I've posted many-a-time that these little atvs hold their value, the one exception is the initial hit from new to first sale (cuz of all the taxes, freight, pdi and whatever other bs the dealer can dream up). you can't pass along any of that.

crating is pretty simple, but you still don't know what you're getting, so for peace of mind... new??people's descriptions of used stuff is so unreliable.that LT80 at Blackfoot was several hundred less, and they definitely crate and ship. you've got nuthin to lose asking and grinding a little.
