How easy is it for deep mud/ water to effect your bike? How much deep mud/ water riding does it take b/f you should change your fluids and oil?

u should check your trans and motor oil ever time u go in the mud check to see ifs a milky color and if it is change it you should also drain the crankcase and check for water in the air box and everwhere else. as for as how deep you can go in the mud ( my tb ) i can go up to the air intake for the clutch but after the water goes in there the belt starts to slip but if the intakes outs the water u can go up to the carb in water but its not good for your motor to let water in

Other than your regular maintenance schedule, you should check the fluids every time after you've ridden deep/muddy water - when they start looking a little milky - it's time to change - you've gotten water in. The biggest problem with the water/mud riders is that they don't think of checking/changing fluids until whatever craps out on them.

if it gets above the crankcase breather you will need to drain the case and check the counter balance oil
