AC 650 Test, Outdoor Ch., 8 PM CST

I hope it doesn't go into limp mode , like mine is, as we speak. LOL. Tomorrow will take of that though. Picked up service manual & reset plug today. Nice manual. Old Doug will be getting him a 650 after this test, yeah, right. Better hurry, you got 10 minutes. Regards, Jerico1

O.K., I'll be the first to reply to my post. How many of ya's seen it. If you didn't see it tonite you can catch it later. Either go to their www or look in your tv guides if you have the monthly ones, like Dish. It'll be on several times in 1 week, i believe. Man, that Moab Utah country got my attention, gotta go there. Awesome , beautiful . Well, Doug fell in love & if they would have burnished the brakes properly before they hit the trails, he would liked the brakes better. Only time i ever use the foot brake is when i'm sitting still & shifting into gear, holds just fine for that.
Otherwise one pull on one lever will hold it on steep hills like it was planted there, if its adjusted properly. You could really see the suspension on the trails work & didn't it work. I could feel his ride, & i knew he was having fun.Did anyone zoom in on those Badland XRT's (commercial). I saw those tires today mounted on an AC 400 , very nice. Any comments on the 650 test can be posted here if you like. Like to hear your views & perceptions. Coming up in a couple of weeks Doug will be trying out a TRV (two rider vehicle). Anyway Arctic Cat was making eyes bug out in thousands of homes tonight.WTG AC & Doug WTG to you & the Outdood channel also.

Finally a good AC review. They tore apart the 03's last year with their reviews. They kept showing the 03's just as the 04's were coming out. Made me think twice about getting one, but I just researched them a little more and finally got one. Good job ATV TV!!!

I was surprised too that Doug like the Cat as much as he said he did.
I will have to agree with him on the overall braking, could use some improvement here. Single levers, one for the rear brake, the other for the front brakes is a "BETTER" working system, even more so with the additional weight of the Cat 650 vs the Prairies. My brakes are burnished on my Cat 650 & will stop this 650 OK but my sold Prairie 650 will out-stop-this Cat 650 on any given day.
