Hi guys this looks like a pretty informative forum!

I have a 1986 LT250R that has a small electrical problem, I got a crack in my headlight and smashed my light bulb the other day and now my Headlight WILL NOT WORK Even after I replaced the Headlight bulb!?! WHY??? NOR does my Taillight work now?!? WTF? bike still runs and wires look ok from what I can see behind my headlight...

HELP GUYS!!

I am hoping you obviously have the switch in the ON position.....otherwise I think you gotta short or your lighting coil went bad.

Yes its in the On position! Where is my lighting coil on a 86? and does anyone have one or no a Part# and where I can get one ASAP?

 

The lighting coil is part of your magneto/stator assembly. Check bikebandit.com for a price.
