I've got my Scrambler 500 clutch apart and was going to try the EPI Pink in it just because I have one, but after taking out the stock spring it is as tall as my HPD Plain[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-shocked.gif[/img] The bike is stock so my question is should I put the Plain, the Pink or just put the stock one back in? [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-confused.gif[/img] Thanks for your help.

There is a difference between the 2 springs. Rick Ritter put together this chart awhile back. It may be of some help to show you the differences between the springs

 

BBS, Any idea what the stock 500 spring is rated? Thanks for the link . I think I'll try the Pink, hopefully it will give me a little more shiftout then the stock one.

 

I cant even remember what color the stock spring was???? I am thinking it was plain, but Im not sure. The pink should give you a slightly higher engagement. I have an HPD vrown primary and engage at around 2200 RPM

 

BBS... I've never seen a VROWN PRIMARY is this a new color? LOL!!
