Hay all, I just moved here from Abq. NM and am looking for any shows in the Campbell/San Jose area. My baby (87 quadzilla) was featured in the Sept. issue of ATV Action if ya care to see)The only place I have found to go riding that is worth anything is Hollister Hills. My problem is that I have Tuesday and Thursdays off and always end up riding by myself and that isn't much fun. Does anyone go to Hollister Hills on week days? Anyone want to go riding?? Let me know, I am tiered of haveing this killer quad and 2 hrs into riding I am riding around looking at the trees cause there is noone to race around with!~!!

Pismo beach is 200 miles south, hop on 101 all the way! American Sand Association, and Planetsand.com have forums dedicated to Pismo. You may need reservations though, it's been a while. Just noticed your days off, might want to take a weekend off. Check out the dune and dune machine forum here also. I know it is not exactly what you wanted to hear, but it is a fun place to ride and you can camp on the beach.

Look under my icon. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img] I'm about as far north in California as you can get, about 4 hours north of Sacramento. I have no idea where the good riding areas are south of where I live. I just hit the forest service roads up here, and then drive to the Oregon Dunes for some sand action. Your best bet would probably be going to a mx track and asking people where to ride. Tell them that you are new, and ask if you could get together and ride with them. Maybe search for riding clubs in your area. Good luck.
