I used masking tape and then a sharpie on the tape to mark off where I was going to cut. I used a small 9.6volt cordless Makita sawzall with a metal cutting blade (small teeth.)
Once I finished cutting I pulled the tape off and used a sand pad (about 8") on my air grinder. Hold it flat as possible and it will clean up the lines - make them straight.
Also, the tape keeps the fence of the saw from scratching up the plastic.
Did mine a few months ago and my buddy's this last weekend!
After you do it you'll have to get some Roll Design Foot Pegs
