Does anybody think that a kawasaki klx300 engine would do good in a 300ex frame. I have access to both and it would be cheap. Do you think it would have enough torque and horsepower to move twice the weight to even be worth it? I've read these engines have around 30 hp. Is that true? Think it would beat a 400ex? Thanks for your time.

 

Its worth a shot, you'll have to make new brackets for the engine and the radiator, I dont think it'll beat a 400EX, but it'll come closer than a 300EX would.
