Default 04 Sportsman 400 Maintenance

I have been searching for info on changing fluids/greasing my 04 SP400 (this is my first ATV). Hope someone can help.

I will be changing out all the fluids for the first time and the owner's manual has limited information (a service manual is on order). Here is what I have so far.

1. Engine Oil/Filter - done before, no biggie
2. Transmission Oil - use Polaris Premium Synthetic Gearcase Lube
3. Front Gearcase Oil - The Table in the manual says to use Polaris Premium Hub Drive Fluid but in the procedure section it says to use Polaris Premium Synthetic Gearcase Lube. Which is correct?
4. Grease Fittings - I've seen where others use a marine grease. Is this good for all 3 grease fittings?

There is nothing listed about the front hubs. Will use the Premium Hub Drive Fluid. Is there anything else I am missing (besides plug, brake fluid, coolant)?

Thanks for any and all input.

If your machine has hubs, use hub fluid in them 2871654. Then use Front gear drive fluid in the front diff 2871653.

Use a waterproof grease in the zerks. I really like the Polaris grease.
